Immihelp_ps
Hi Me and my wife are going for Visa stamping this Nov, 1st week. 1. I came to US in Sep 2007 on H1 and my wife on H4 with visa till Sep 2010 with employer X. 2. My wife went to India last year and got H4 Visa extension stamping till Sep 2013 with employer X. 3. Now I have changed my employer to Y, and we both are visiting India in Nov. 4. I am going for my H1B Visa extension stamping with my current employer Y. Please advice me, if in this case should I have to take my wife again for Visa staming, when she already have approved Visa stamp till Sep 2013, but with my previous employer (X) petition Please help us with above questions . pontevecchio
She does not need a new H4 visa. But I think you should both go and get new visas since you are going anyway. It makes no difference except to give her a longer period of the H4 visa. Dont you want see the world? Link to comment
Immihelp_ps
Hi pontevecchio, Thanks for the reply, but she has H4 VISA approved from my previous employer petition, and now I have a new employer for which I am going for stamping, and also for taking her to the interview, I have to pay another Rs 11000 for her visa appointment, that's why I want to confirm, whether she needs a new visa stamp or not? Please reply. Thanks Praveen Link to comment
