Neesa Posted October 9, 2012 Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 Hi, I am currently on H4 (it expires in December). A COS for H4-H1 has been filed and is pending. But since my H4 will run out of status, we are filing H4 extension along with my spouse's H1 extension. Is it okay to have a pending H1 application and also file for the H4 extension? In that case, is the filing of H4 extension by my spouse's org, while the H1 petition is still in pending state alright? pontevecchio Posted October 13, 2012 Report Share Posted October 13, 2012 Wait till the last possible moment about 15 days before H4 I94 expiry and then file if the H1 is not approved. Or spend 1250 and convert to PP. Link to comment
