H4 dependant petetiioner change

Hello Sir,

I am holding H1 and came to USA and i got H4 visa for my spouse with my same company ,she is now in india , and now iam going to change the company , will my spouse needs to go stamping before she comes to USA as her petetioned getting changed.

Please advice on this.

H4 has no connection to your employer. She can come over with her existing valid H4 visa as long as you are in valid H1 status with ANY employer. She would need to show your H1 approval on entry.

I got the h1b approval on July-16-2013 for B company (my new employer). During this approval process my wife was in India and entered USA on July 20 with her visa (old) which is valid till Sep-01-2013. But she got this visa stamped on 17-feb-2011 when I was with my old employer - A company.

During the recent entry to USA on july 20th 2013 (after my new h1b got approved with B company) she got the I-94 until 01-sep-2013 based upon the old visa she got on her passport.

My question, do I need to apply for any kind of adjustment of status for my spouse now?
