H1B extension with new job duties? Urgent.... Help please!!!

Hi -

I am with Employer A who is holding my H1b (8th year - valid till 2013 oct. Employer B holds by GC application with PD as apr 2010, i140 approved and applied for i485 (10 more days for 180 days).

My H1B was extended by Employer A using the I140 from Employer B (Since it had similar job description).

I have an opportunity to move from "system engineer" to "project manager".

If I take the upgrade, how will it affect my i-485 approval?

when I apply for my H1B extension in may, should I change the previous H1B job description from engineer to project manager?

what impact will it have on my GC application from company B through which I have my EAD (I'm not applying my EAD to this new position)?

The H1 job description need not be the same. Once you are 6 months post AOS you can use AC21 if you want.
