nyshangal
My company said that they will pay me minimum wage because the client is really slow in paying. Is it legal to do that? I have been working for 4 years with the same company Link to comment
JoeF
That's illegal. On H1, you always have to get paid at least the salary listed on the LCA. If the company is not willing to do that, file a complaint with DOL on form WH4. The DOL will make the company pay you. Link to comment
pontevecchio
It is not. Talk to an Immigration Lawyer soon. Link to comment
applying4usvisa
check prevailing wages. If he is not paying that much then employer could be in problem. But he can always withdraw your visa and according to law you are out of the status on the same day your employment is terminated. Check with attorney. If you pay like couple hundred bucks and explain the issue they will guide you better. All the best. Link to comment

t75
Slow payment by client is not yoru problem. It is obvious from your statements that you are working for an underfunded consulting firm. Find a real employer. Link to comment
