Regarding New Visa Payment Type ( EFT )

Did any one tried paying visa fees using EFT.. If so please share ur experience. Thanks

I have paid my wife's visa fee through net banking from my father's ICICI bank and we got the payment confirmation/reference number smething like 37XXXXXXX. We did this on Saturday 10 Am IST Is this the same number that needs to be provided in the receipt number field in the portal or the unique beneficary acc number? And how long does this take to activate the transaction. I tried after many times with the ICICI confirmation number but got an error that no vaild records found. Where and when we will get reciept number via NEFT payment. Till now always aw Reference/ confirmation number not receipt number.

I got my receipt number. It will be activated on it's own and the email id which you used while registering username will get a mail saying it is activated and the receipt number field on payment page will automatically populated. It will be generally the XXXXX in TIER2XXXXX
