l1btol1a
Hi, Seniors, Please help me regarding my options based on following thing. I was on L-1B and applied for COS from L-1B to H-1B and H-1B approved (Company B) with effective date Oct 1, 2012. Later My L-1b Company applied for COS from L-1B to L-1A and L-1A approved with effective date Oct 1, 2012. 1. Can I continue working with L-1A company? 2. Do we need to revoke/withdraw the H-1B, If I want to continue working with L-1A Company? 3. According Last action rule, my L-1A will active from Oct 1, 2012 right? Thank you in Advance. pontevecchio
While a Lawyer will certainly be of use I would stay out of the country on October,1 and then come back on the L1 or H1 visa as appropriate to your plans. Link to comment

l1btol1a
Basically stay out of the country on October,1 and come back on whichever visa is appropriate. My H-1B company is going to revoke my H-1B as I told them to revoke. In this case, can I continue on L-1A? Thank you, Kiran Link to comment
l1btol1a
Pontevecchio, Thank you for your reply. My lawyer is suggesting that I can continue working with L-1A company from Oct 1, 2012. If my H-1B will revoke then can I continue working with L-1A? Thank you, Kiran Link to comment
pontevecchio
Obviously if the H1 is revoked your L1 status continues. Trust your Lawyer and not this forum. Link to comment
