ArifSha
Hello All, I have been working for a company for the past 3 years on H1b and they have recently filed for my H1b Extension for the next three years. My first H1b will expire in Jan 2013 so does my wife's H4, she is in the united states on h4 with Jan 2013 as the stay time on her I94. I have the approval notice for my extended H1B from Sept 2012-Sept 2015. So now, how should I extend my wife's H4 based on my new H1b? Do I need to hire a lawyer or can I do it my self? Her current H4 is valid until Jan 2013. We don't plan to go to India but in order for her to legally stay in the states, she needs an extended H4. Please advice with your knowledge and possibly websites where I can go in detail, learn and file for extension of H4. Note: My new H1b is approved and good to go from Sept 2012-2015. Thanks everyone for reading and replying to the post. Bilal Link to comment
