iNeedHelp2012
I have a US Green Card, got approved in 2011. I’m going to get married this year. What are the options available to bring my spouse along with me after I got married? Can anyone please advice or share their experience whoever had the similar situation! Everyone’s input is appreciated! Link to comment
JoeF
You can sponsor a GC for your spouse, but there is a quota, so it would be a couple of years before she can get a GC. Other than that, the only option would be for the spouse to get an L1 or H1, provided she qualifies. Or you can wait with marriage until you are a US citizen. There is no quota for spouses of US citizens. Or you can find a US citizen partner and marry that person... Link to comment
pontevecchio
You have only 2 options H1 or L1 if she qualifies or wait for up to 2 years. Link to comment
