Even in my case USCIS website is still showing as initital review.Its been more than 3 months

When can i recieve status on my H1B approval

Apparently the USCIS is taking 4 months to process regular H1B. So its normal to see it take this long

I am little bit concerned, since I am thinking that generally USCIS processing timing is 3 months for regular cases. Is anybody approaching their filing companies for premium processing ?

How is general trend in fresh H1B case approvals, I mean, % of cases getting approved ?

Hi , I have applied on June 6, California Center, on Aug 27 received an RFE for employee-employer relationship , replied to the RFE and the status is updated to : RFE Response Received on Sept 14 and is under process..

Not sure it is reliable, mine was received on June 4th and is still under initial review.

I have my receipt date for H1B extension is on June 7th VSC, no update yet and my old H1 is already expired and it was last dated on 19th September.

My Case status changed to RFE today,

• Filing Date: 01 June
  
• Type: Regular, Non Masters, First time filing
  
• Status: RFE on 26 Sept
  
• RFE Reason: Yet to know

Few of my collegues petition is filed along with me on same day, however their status is Initial Review, not sure on what basis USCIS is processing petitions

Hi VirtualWorld, what is your RFE about? please post so if anyone knows any key points can provide input.

Yes, we never know how USCIS handles cases. Also if our attorneys are "too much" professional, then we wont be able to know much details. My case is still in Initial Review. I will update if I get any response.

Status Changed to RFE : Oct 1st 2012

PS: I signed up for alerts in USCIS site when there is any status change. but haven't got any alerts yet for this change of status :-) Just a heads up for those guys who are waiting for a sms/email notification. Please keep checking the status online. Waiting for RFE by mail now..
