goodboy1808
Hello, My wife is 4 months pregnant and we have to get our H1B stamping done. We ware planning to go to India in 6th/7th month (if my wife's doctor allows) and have visa stamping done in Mumbai during that time. My wife is on dependent (H4) visa and she has medical insurance. Someone just mentioned to me that there can be issues during stamping if wife is pregnant. Is this true? Does it make sense for me to go to Canada to get visa stamping done before (like mid-Sept) ? or is it OK if we get stamping done in India (if doctor allows us to go). If doctor does not allow us to go, we were planning to go to Canada during same period (6th/7th month) to get visa stamping done. Please let me know. Thanks Link to comment
pontevecchio
Why do you have to get the visa stamped now as opposed to after the baby is born? Link to comment
goodboy1808
Why do you have to get the visa stamped now as opposed to after the baby is born? No specific reason. Just want to get done with stamping, so don't have to worry about it in case want to do more international trips. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Avoid unnecessary travel till the baby is born . You have a lifetime to travel. No, Pregnancy is NOT a reason to deny the H4 visa. Wait for your FTN bundle of joy and then get your visas in Canada. Link to comment
