vdesh Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 Hello, I will be completing 5 years on L1 B next year (May-2012) and my i-94 is valid till 2014. My employer is ready to file for H1B in 2013 cap. My question is if i go for premium processing and gets my H1B approval before May 2012 can i work on H1 B after approval or I have to wait till 1 Oct 2013? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted September 4, 2012 Report Share Posted September 4, 2012 Since you will have finished 5 years next May you will need to leave for one year and have the employer file your H1 after May2014 assuming you meant 2013 and not 2012 in your OP. Link to comment
