RM29
Hi, I have a question about my situation. I got my H1B approved in October 2009 and then worked for 2 companies on H1B visa. I got laid off from my company (lost my job) last year in November 2011 and thus transferred to H4 visa. Now if a new company wants to sponsor me through H1B visa, is there a time restriction or cap limit I am subject to? Also as I have been out of work for more than 9 months, do I need to provide the paystubs from my old job? In addition, what other problems can I face from the transfer of H4 to H1B? Thank you in advance for your help. Link to comment
pontevecchio
No. You may need to provide your spouses pay stubs to show the spouse has been in legal H1 status. Link to comment
