do I need H1B STAMPED to apply for h1b extension.

Hi Everyone,

I came to us on F1 VISA, and it is expired this year(Aug) ,Right now I’m on 1^ST H1B , got approval for2 years(I applied for h1b last year with change of status) which is going to expire in November 2013. My passport is not stamped with H1b visa.

My question s

1) I have no plans to go India until 2014.so do I need a valid visa (H1B STAMPED) to apply for h1b extension.

2) What are all the other options I have to extend my h1b?
