asdfgh3
I am an Indian citizen and I came to the US in 2006 for my Masters. I got married last year in November. I was on my OPT at that time. My husband is an Indian citizen working in the US for the past 4 years in biomedical research. After our wedding, he filed the GC for us with him being the primary applicant under the EB-1B category. I was the dependent on his application. We received our green cards and EAD/AP cards in June this year. We have had major problems in our marriage and he is thinking about annulment. I must say that he has valid grounds for annulment of our marriage. I have a few questions regarding my visa status on the event of annulment. If our marriage is annulled, what would be my visa status? Would my green card be revoked? If it is revoked, would it be immediate or only when I apply for citizenship/renewal? Please let me know. Any input is appreciated. Link to comment
pontevecchio
"I must say that he has valid grounds for annulment of our marriage" Frankly too much information. 1. Do you have a GC or not? 2. NO. 3. Divorce is not grounds for revocation unless you married him for the card. You should discuss the matter with a Lawyer. Link to comment
