H1B Time Recover

Hi guys.. I have one question about H1B visa time recover...

I had gotten H1B visa in Oct 2008 and I came to USA in May 2010. so almost 1 and 1/2 year, I spent in india. Last year I got visa extension for another 3 years and my duration of 6 yrs visa is going to expire in oct 2014.

After oct 2014, Shall I recover the time period (1 and 1/2 year) which I spent in india .

I require some expert comments on my question since I need to take some decisions which depends on visa time recover.
