Later for some reason the project could not take off and I was not sent to the US. It's been a year now and I am still in India. Now I have resigned from my job and do not want to travel any further. Company has never asked me to sign any document/bond when visa was filed. They are now asking me to pay visa processing fees incurred by them last year. Can employee be forced for H1b visa fees if he/she has not been given a chance to travel? Can employee take this with DOL? If not, who can help in India? Link to comment
