Link Employment based I-485 to marriage based

Hi,

My company applied for my GC, but the processing time is too long and i am currently on my EAD and AP waiting for the Visa numbers to be available. Since then, i have got married and my spouse is a US citizen. If i apply for my GC through her, do i just need to file for I-130 and then link my already submitted I-485 to this new I-130? Can i do that? Or do i need to start a new process altogether?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

There are other posts that discusses this issue in detail. You need to file 130 and interfile your existing 485. you may send the 130 app and 485 interfile letter together.
