H1B Visa Stamping - Consultant.

Hello, I got my H1B approved and will be starting on this Oct1 2012 and earlier i was on F1..

I am planning to make a visit to India this winters and hence i have to do my stamping..

as i am a consultant but with prime vendor and now one big question will be whom do you report to and who give you all day to day activity. Can any one please help me in this?

You are reporting to your employer. Per the new regulations, your employer should be getting an update from you and not your client so they can manage the work assigned to you.
