gcb1
My wife has B1/B2 visa for USA, and she works in Dubai. I have a GC, recently married but has not started her GC yet. She has visited USA a few times in past and has a Sr Mgmt level job in a UK based bank in Dubai. We are planning to wait to get my Citizenship which will happen in 2 years and then apply her visa, which we think may be quicker, and in the mean time we are hoping she can visit here in USA for short duration using her B1/B2 visa. Is this a workable approach for her in terms of legally visiting USA on short trips? Are there any consideration we need to take in account ? Regards Link to comment
gcb1
The main reason I asked the above question is I heard when a spouse is in USA and then other may not get visitor visa. Is it true ? For this reason we don't want to file her immigrant visa so that there is no doubt in visa officer's mind that she may overstay here, the only intention is frequent visits may be 3-4 in a year for her based on her vacations.
