i-94 extension for dependents

I am working on L1 B visa and getting expired on 29 Sep 12 . I have valid I 94 until 1 jan 2014.

My wife and Kid came in US later and got I 94 until 29 Sep 12 which is same as visa expiration

Could you please clarify following::

- Can i stay in country until I 94 expiration without extension of visa.

- If , yes , Can my dependent get an extension on I 94 based on i 94

Would be appreciated quick response!!

See if a kind CBP Officer will correct this error on their part first. The visa is only an entry document. Their I94 should have been the same as yours.
