Now i need to go to india alone and i have H4 stamping from previous employer which is expiring in 2013. 1)Do i need to get visa stamped in delhi and also 2)is it possible to get h4 stamped without my husbands h1 stamp? 3) what paper work must i take with me in original? Documents supporting H1b will be needed. I 797, employer letter, bank docs etc. I assume you were on F2 when your husband was on F1. VO may also be interested to know this. Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted August 9, 2012 Report Share Posted August 9, 2012 You have a valid H4 visa. H4 has NO CONNECTION to employers. You need to take his approved H1 petition or a copy to reenter the USA. Link to comment
