vvkomma
Hi, I am on L1B, my visa expired and my L1B petition is valid indefnitely. I am currently on I94 valid till Oct, 2013. My family went to India and now if my family want to travel to US, they need a VISA. Questions: 1. Can my family get VISA based on my I94 and valid L1B Petition. 2. If not, what are the options available for me. Thanks in advance, Regards, VV Link to comment
Attorney_23
If a foreign national is in valid L1 status, his wife and children are generally permitted to obtain an L2 visa based on his valid I-94. Link to comment
vvkomma
Thanks for the reply. Now My L1A extension is denied. My L1B Visa expired in Feb 2012 and My I94 [L1B] is valid till Oct 2013. My questions: Can I legally stay and work till Oct 2013. My family have got L2 visa based on I94, they currently hold valid visa, can they travel, they are currently out of US? What are the other options for me for new extension or visa. If I can stay still Oct, 2013, Can my employer again apply for another extension either L1A or L1B? Appreciate your quick response. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
t75
Your extension was denied. What is the point in reapplying if there was no error in the processing. You can work until the expiration of your I-94 and then you all can go back home. No one is guaranteed a US work visa. L1 visas have been abused by many companies. Link to comment
