H4 expired. I-797 will expire soon. Is it better to go for H4 or B2?

My wife had B-2 (tourist) multiple entry visa. When she went for H4 stamping, the consulate officer didn't cancel her B-2 visa. She travlled multiple times to US on H4 visa. Now her H4 visa has expired. And my I-797 is going to expire in 4 months.

She is in India now. Is it better to go for H4 visa interview? or can she travel on B-2 visa?

Will there be any problem at port of entry?
