For personal reasons I am visiting India on Oct. when I will be back to USA will have only 2 months of valid visa. Will be a problem in Port of Entry? what is the best option to apply for H1B extension? Can I apply now and travel to India? Is it a problem to travel when H1B petition in process? Link to comment

pontevecchio Posted August 9, 2012 Report Share Posted August 9, 2012 The 2 months WILL not matter. One can travel abroad while an extension is pending. Companies do have Lawyers. Have you spoken to the company Lawyer? Link to comment
