Dear members,

I am looking for ways to go back to US and work there. I have studied MS in pharma from US and came back to India after that as was having hard time in getting job there due to recession. Since then I am working in India and want to go back and work on H1b.

Could you please guide me the way I can go there now. I was thinking of going on visitor visa but not sure if its a good idea.

You would need to find an employer. The employer can file an H1 from April 1, 2013 on for a start date no earlier than Oct. 1, 2013.

You can of course visit the US before that, but you certainly can not work in any form.

You need a job to work in US. First find an real employer who can sponsor you.

Entering into US as a visitor but with some other intentions will put you into trouble. Visitor visa is for visitors and H1 visa is for employees.

Yes. Going to job interviews is perfectly fine on a B1/B2 visa.

Visitor visa will be for 6 months and I will have to come back for h1 stamping. So do you think any company will wait for so long and what r the chances of getting u2 approved.
