nkolla
Hello, I am on H1B currently working as fulltime for a reputed employer. But, due to some health reasons i guess i cannot continue to work for long. H1B approved with employer A in Oct 2011 and expires Sep 2014. Also have H1B Visa stamp from Employer A. Now, i moved companies and i am currently with employer B and my H1B transfer from Emp A->B is still in process. Due to health reasons i wanted to take atleast 10 months break which i obviously cannot take leave that long on H1B and hence wanted to convert to H4. Note: I am on valid visa status all the while and have proper paystubs. 1.) Can i convert to h4 visa while my H1B transfer is in progress? No decision made yet on my H1B transfer. 2.) If yes, can someone please let me know the procedure applying for H4 visa processing while H1B transfer is still in progress. 3.) If my H4 gets approved, do i have to leave the country and come back on h4? 4.) Any other options to get leave on my current visa(H1B) for that long? Your answer would be greatly appreciated.
