H1B Transfer Rejected and the options i have to keep my self safe for future H1B.

Hi,

I was working with Company A. I was laid off by Company A and got an offer with Company B which started my H1B Transfer before my End date at Company A.

I am planning to start at Company B with H1B Receipt under Regular Processing.

I want to find out few things.

1) If I didn't get H1B Approval with Company B can i go back to Company A till i find another job.

2) If the decision was taken as denial how many days do i have to apply for COS to H4(My Spouse is on H1B).

3)What If I apply for COS from H1B to H4 Visa on the next day of decision taken about H1B. Am i still considered as out of status.

3) What can i do in the worst case scenerio.

1. You have been laid off. How can you go back?

2. You can apply ASAP and they may or may not oblige.

3. You will only if they deny the COS because if they do you are in status.

4. Insist on PP with B and if they refuse leave and come back on the H4 visa.
