Hi everyone,

My firm has a project in Europe and i might have to work on it.

Does anyone know if i can work for this project ?

And if yes, is there any limit of time ? as my project will be from September 2012 to May 2013.

As everyone here, i have a H1B visa (and European) so i don't know how much freedom we have on where we can work...

Thank you in advance for your help

Generally, the H1B visa permits a foreign national to work for a specific employer in the United States only. Generally, when an H1B employee is abroad, s/he is not subject to US immigration laws. Thus, if one intends to work in a foreign country s/he will need to consult with an immigration attorney in that country to determine what requirements are needed to obtain a work permit/visa in that particular company.
