I am currently on L1B expired visa having valid I-94 till 2013. My wife is on L2 EAD and currently has approved H1B petition. I need information whether I will be eligible to apply for H4 Visa once she gets on H1.

Also, Can I apply for Change of status from L1B to H4 Visa now itself as she moves to H1b from this october, 2012.

Please let me know the thoughts.

Do I have to apply only after October when she is on H1. When I apply for H4. Can I quit my company where I am on L1B Visa.

Please let me know.
