H1B transfer official info on USCIS website?

Hi,

I am currently negotiating an offer package with a potential employer. So far, everything goes great except the H1B transfer sponsorship issue. It seems like my potential employer hasn't had the experience in hiring non US citizen in the past, and they are concerned that H1B transfer will be a troublesome process for us to move forward.

From what I saw and heard from friends and online resources, H1B transfer seems to be a easy process. They asked me to provide them the application process information from the offical government website to make sure everything is as easy as everybody said. Thus, I tried to dig in the USCIS website last night, but couldn't find anything related to H1B transfer.

Does anyone know where I can find the related detailed information on any of the offical government website?

I sincerely hope the H1B transfer won't be a show stopper, and will greatly appreciate your input and help!

GOOGLE " Filing a H1 petition" and give them the print out. It does not seem Kosher. Tell them to get off their hind sides, politely of course and pay for a Lawyer.

There technically is no H1 transfer.

It is always a new H1 application.

The one additional thing is that you can start working for the new employer while the new H1 application is still pending.

Better ask that company to contact their attorney. If they do not have immigration attorney then suggest them some good immigration attorney like Murthy law firm. Let them directly talk to attorney instead of you getting involve. We do not know all things about immigration.
