milind.honrao
Hi, I had to leave US in May on a business trip to India for 2.5 months. I had by EAD + AP documents and was H1-B when I left. Now, my green card has been approved as of June 20th and was shipped to my home in the US. My lawyer email me the approval notices for me and my wife. I have taken a print out of the approval notices. I am planning to return on the 28th of July. Can I return to the US with these documents? What line do I stand in during immigration? Aliens or Permanent Residents? Link to comment
pontevecchio
You make the Lawyer earn his remuneration by asking him. Basically you go and tell the Immigration Officer at the POE what happened and you will go for secondary Inspection and then be allowed in. Its all paper work after that. Stand in whichever Q is not for American Citizens and has the least wait. Link to comment
