H4 status based on H1 status.

Currently I'm working with a company A with a valid I797 till Nov 2013. When I transferred my H1 Visa from company B (previous employer) to company A, my wife was in India for a vacation. So my current employer did not apply a petition for her. Now both of us in our passport have my previous employer stamping with I94 expire on Feb 2013. Since I've a valid I94 with current employer till Nov 2013, I should be good.

But for my wife, what are the options to get a petition or extend her visa to my new employer?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

EOS I-539 USCIS website. You should file before the I94 expires.
