mirlosmad
Murthy Forum, I have been offered a position in IT department in University for Full-Time job. I am currently working in Corporate organization Company-A under L1B visa. I am interested to take this offer in the University as the profile is a very challenging and growth potential role. I wanted to know how do I go ahead working for the University...I heard about H1B under Non-Profit and Academic quota system...i know the H1 applications for this year have been capped and reached its limit. Can I still apply for H1b under Academic and Non-Profit system ? I do not know much about how this work....any information about this would really be helpful ? Thanks... Link to comment
pontevecchio
You should be ordinarily fine. Just accept the job and let them take care of the legalities. This sort of job would not be subject to the cap. Link to comment
