ssbk2424
I am planning to go to Canada for H1B stamping. My wife is on H4 and she will be travelling to India later part of this year and would like to go for stamping there. Our visas are already expired. My doubt is can I go for stamping now while my wife is in the country with expired H4 visa? Will the VO question why she is not attending? Will it effect VO decision to issue my visa? Please help Link to comment
saxena638
Consider the worst case scenario. What if they issue 221g and you get stuck for a long period of time? That may not happen, but you should be prepared. Link to comment
anudecent12
I am in the same situation , leaving my husband H4 in usa and myself going for h1 b stamping to Vancouver on aug 28 he dnt have any plans to travel this year. can it be a issue why he didnt came alone with me. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Ideally both should go. The H4 visa is totally routine if the H1 visa is approved. It is not compulsory. You can go alone . Link to comment

pontevecchio
Yes will not be a problem. If they ask orally tell them what happened. This will not be a reason not to give you the visa. Link to comment
