rammy_2005 Posted July 7, 2012 Report Share Posted July 7, 2012 Dear Friends, We recently received our GC but USCIS made a mistake with the category that was assigned to me and my wife on our green cards. We had to file I-90 and return the GCs to be corrected to USCIS. My wife has to travel to India as soon as possible to attend to her ailing grandmother and we took an USICS appointment to get the I-551 stamping on our passports but the officer told us to come back after the bio-metrics were complete. We have waited almost 3 weeks now and have not yet received our Bio-metrics. We still have our Advance Parole valid till March 2013, which we filed before receiving our GCs. Can we use the non-expired AP to travel to India instead of getting the I-551 stamping in the passport? Please help? Kind Regards Ramesh Link to comment
