sp_0826
I'd appreciate if someone can help me with this info. I have a recently approved GC and planning to travel outside US soon. What all documents would I need to carry for Port of Entry when I come back to US? Appreciate your inputs ... Link to comment

pontevecchio
Why is applying for a Reentry permit a problem? It is safer to do so for trips above 6 months. Link to comment
catx
I just read an interesting article (today) on temporary stays outside the U.S. on permanent residency (LPR) status and their potential negative impact -- http://www.******.shtm. There have been a few posts recently on this topic. The clear advice is do not make it a practice or regular occurrence, plus there are no guarantees with a re-entry permit. Link to comment
