Shruti1983
Hi Group, I am a senior software engineer working in a consultancy firm. I have B Tech degree in Computer Science and The time when I joined my consultancy firm I had only 3.5 years exp. But at the time of filing my PERM with my current consultancy I had total 5 years exp and my employer showed the exp gained after 5 years in my company with diff job description. Now my PERM in EB2 and I-140 both are approved via same consultancy. I also came to know that I needed to have 5 years exp prior to join my curent employer then only I can apply in EB2. I am afraid if this give any issue at the later stage in my green card. Should I change my employer and join any other employer and restart the PERM and I-140 so the total exp will be more than 5 years before joining this new employer(Off course with porting my Priority Date) Thanks for your time and consideration. Regards, Shruti. Link to comment

Shruti1983
@chtummala: Are you sure, because I have time now to change the company. Once my 485 stage comes and my Green card gets rejected, then I will have to leave the country right away. Its completely dangerous to take any chance. Please advise. Link to comment
pontevecchio
I would suggest spending some money on a Lawyer for their take./ Link to comment
