pjayvoatnhi
Hello, I was in usa on F1 VISA in different schools. my I-20 was terminated 3 days prior to my last date of I-20, stating the reason for termination as not attending school. Actual reason was, there was a miscommunication giving my credit card details to the DSO for fee payment. DSO terminated assuming i didn't pay fee. I spoke to an attorney, and i chose to re-enter usa on initial attendance through a different I-20, by crossing the mexico border and reentering usa within 50 days of termination of my I-20. I did that and entered usa without any problem and i maintained my new f1 status. Now i came back to my home country, got my H1B approval for medical residency. I am having my VISA interview in about a week. What can I expect at the consulate? will I have any problem during interview or at the port of entry? how should i substantiate my stay after termination and reentry? Your input will be appreciated and will help me tremendously. Thanks & Regards. Link to comment
