mrr.anonymous
I'm working with an employer 'XYZ' . Recently I got a very good opportunity from a MNC (***) and would like join them by transferring my H1B. Few points about relationship between current employer 'XYZ' and ***: - 'XYZ' is in New Jersey - ***is in Texas - XYZ provides the services to various clients using *** products. - 'XYZ' is a platinum partner of *** However there is no "non-compete" clause, y current employer's offer letter says: "If I had contact with customers, prospective customers of XYZ , or an entity with whom XYZ has a business cooperation arrangement, or if I have been involved in sales, business development, marketing, recruitment, strategic relationships of XYZ , then I agree that for a period of One(1) year following the termination of the employment, I will not, without prior written permission from XYZ, directly or indirectly accept employment with a customer of XYZ or solicit or accept any similar business from a customer, prospective customer, or an entity with whom XYZ has a business cooperation arrangement." Based on the above clasue and relationship between XYZ and ***, Is there any trouble if I accept employment with ***. Thanks Anonymous Link to comment
pontevecchio
Firstly it is a question of labor law and legality of a contract. You should contact a Labor Lawyer in that state. Link to comment
