140 approval notice

i have been working with the same employer for past 7 yrs. my employer is not willing to share the copy of 140 after working for so long and paying out of my pocket for every h1b extn, premium processing, labor and and 140 fees and still not willing to share..

dont understand why and how much selfishness this indian companies have ...try to control employees. i wish there is more legal constraint over how much control they can have. if some one can raise a petition on how much control employers can have on employees.. that day things will change i guess..

for now what are my options .. i have an offer from client .. can they file for an extention / transfer based off my labor approval..

i can apply for foia form ..but i dont think i have that much time .. that client cant wait so long ..and keep the position open..

is there another option..?

As long as the client files and gets a H1 approved before any action vis a vis the I-140 by the employer the extension stands on its own and gives you time to get a new GC sponsor and retain the PD.
