romamehta87
Hello, My OPT starts in June end, Currently Company A has filed for my H1-B visa and it has been approved. I have not yet started working for that company since my OPT starts from 25th June. Also, the H1-B visa will be activated from 1st Oct, 2012. Now, I am interested in working for Company B, and not join Company A at all. Is it possible to get my H1-B transferred, or I need a new application through company B? Also, do I need to inform Company A to revoke my visa, and will it have any impact on the visa decision through Company B's application? Would really appreciate any help in this direction. Also, can I have multiple applications happening at the same time, as here, I already have an approved visa from Company A and Company B would file for a new one in the latter option. Thanks in advance! Link to comment
pontevecchio
B will need to file a H1 petition for you. You need to inform A at a suitable time that you will not be joining them as a matter of expected courtesy. Link to comment
