rock_star
Hi, I got my H-1B extension till 2014 and I-94 got extended however my project got over in Dec 2011 and I returned back to India. While departure(from commercial airline) I did submit my I-94 but forget to submit extended I-94 (which came along with I-797). As now I am in India my company filed amendment for new client but I got amendment denial notice saying ‘The evidence contained in the record does not support your claim that the beneficiary would be performing services at the location originally indicated on the petition. It is not allowed to change the work location subsequent to the filing of Form I-129 petition. Therefore, your petition is denied I am not sure what does it mean but looks like my departure detail is not updated in USCIS. Please let me know what I need to do now. Thanks Link to comment
rock_star
Please let me know this urgently if I need to send my extended I-94 to DHS along with the required document. I have e-tickets and passports last page as proof. Will it be sufficient enough ? How long it take for CBP official to update my status ? Link to comment
pontevecchio
The I94has nothing to do with your problem. The company needs to refile with proper and correct details for the extension to be approved. Link to comment
