Applying for GC with 16 months on H1

Hi all,

I have 16 months left on my H1 as end of this month.

I got a new offer from an employer,who is ready to transfer my H1 and process GC for me.

Can any one pls let me know if it's enough time to apply/process GC,so that I will be able to extend my stay ?

please consult a lawyer.

you will need to have pending (or approved and not expired) LC for at least 365 days or an approved I-140 to be eligible to extend your H1 beyond 6 years.

Depends on the company you join as well. if they can move from day 1, you may have a chance.
