coolhunk11
Hello All, I did my BBA from UK and then I did my MBA in Supply chain management from USA. Now I am working with a procurement company as a Lead Expeditor for procurement of material oil and gas companies with a salary of $42000. Its been 15 months since I am working with this company and currently working on OPT. The company is ready to file H1b visa but the lawyer wants to know what position should he file for which will match my qualifications and the job profile and the salary. He is asking why does the company need to hire an MBA for this position. Please suggest something so that I can advice my lawyer accordingly. Thank you Link to comment
JoeF
The salary has to match or exceed the prevaling wage for the job in the region where the job is located. The salary you listed looks rather low for a position requiring an academic degree. The lawyer should advise you, not the other way around... Link to comment
coolhunk11
Hello Thank you for your response. The salary exceeds the minimum requirement for the job but the job does not state any education requirements and thats why my lawyer wants to know why the company needs to hire an MBA for this position. coolhunk11
Hello Friends.. Please advice on my issue. Thank you Link to comment
JoeF
The lawyer would have to talk with the company. You should not be involved in that. Link to comment
Jyothis
It think it is up to your employer to answer that question. Why does a company wants some one with an MBA is purely their choice. Since they made the decision, it would be their duty to justify their action. Link to comment
