Eligibility for green card on EB2 category.

I have completed MS in Management in the US and I have 1 1/2 years of work experience in the IT field. Can I right away go ahead and file for the green card on EB2 category? Please suggest.

You cannot file for your own GC under EB-2 category...its the Employer who needs to file it and the Job Requirements(not your qualifications) will decide if your case is eligible for EB-2.

i.e. if the Job requirement clearly says that they need someone with Masters degree only then you are eligible for EB-2 filing even though you have a Masters Degree.

EB2 criteria was MS +2 or BS + 5 and the degree should be in the related field as well if my memory serves me right. That may actually rule out your masters in management, unless you are doing project management. Check with your company attorney and see what happens.
