SaiRam2012
I have master degree from United Kingdom from a reputed university. Is the masters degree(One year master Computer Networking Engineering) from UK considered good enough for Green card EB2 category? Is this equivalent to US master degree..? Thanks in advance! Jyothis
You will need to get your educational evaluation done here to determine that. If the evaluation comes back with a masters equivalency, that with a 2 year experience in the same field should qualify you for EB2, depending on the skill set and complexity of the job you do. Consult an immigration attorney to determine your eligibility and the steps involved. Forums only reflect experiences and it does not keep up with the laws and regulations in the current point of time or your specific situation in life. Link to comment
dele
First the job needs to have a minimum requirement of a Masters degree. If the job description says Bachelors plus 2 years required, then it is an EB3 category. It won't matter if you have a Master's degree. If your job requirement requires a Masters degree, then you can talk about getting an evaluation of your UK Master's degree. I would think that a UK Masters would be the equivalent of a US Masters.
