h1b stamp: approved: evc model: ottawa rocks :)

Hi everyone,

i have been following this forum for a long time and i am delighted today that me and 3 other friends of mine: all evc model got our stamping done today successfully here in Ottawa.

I know people in the past have had issues here but i guess it is changing :) and my interview lasted for 10 minutes:

VO: how are you

Me: Fine

VO: Company name

Me: XXX

VO: Vendor in between?

Me: YYY

VO: Client name and location

Me: zzz and zzz

VO: your roles and responsibilties

Me: blah....

VO: How long have u been with the current employer

ME: 1 year

VO: YOur degree in US?

Me: Comp Eng

VO: VIsa is approved for pick up in 2-3 days

I just took standard documents, he didnt even request for the client letter.

Yes, so here are the questions that were asked to my other friends :

VO: When did you come to US?

Friend: XXX year

VO: What did you study?

Friend: XXX

VO: Do you have a vendor in between? What's its name & Spell it for me.

Friend: Yes, xxxx, xxxx

Pretty much standard questions, no issues, seems like things are improving a lot as just like everyone even i was a little skeptical about coming here initially due to all the NEGATIVE comments posted about here.

HI,

I am planning to go for stamping in Canada.

I have been working in US for past 3.5 years in US on L1B visa ,In November 2011 I have converted my visa L1b to H1b visa.

And now I am working on H1B as a contractor (with 2 vendors involved )..

I wanted to check with you that If you can suggest me going to Canada for my stamping ..I get all valid documents from my vendors..

also my project is till June 2012 toll now..

Please advice.

I see that you have a masters from USA. I do not have masters from USA,What do you think will it safe for me go to Canada for stamping in my case?
