LateshDulani
Hello, I have H1 petition approval from my previous employer in India but visa is not stamped. Could you please guide me whether my visa can be use with my new employer or with any other firm. What is the difference in visa expiry and petition expiry, can they differ? Thanks, Latesh Link to comment
pontevecchio
Your visa by itself is useless. FYI visa is the Physical stamp you get on your passport which serves as an entry document. A petition is a H1 petition approved after filing LCA/I129 etc. In view of the fact that you have been cap counted in the past you can certainly find a H1 sponsor to file and get your H1 petition approved and then get a visa and come over to work. The cap shoulod not affect you. Link to comment
