I-485 Pending, H1B laid off

Hi,

I just changed my job 6 months, worked with the previous company for over 6 years, there are some changes in the new company and could be laid off, i got my 485 pending (Eb3 priority date 2007), always been on h1b status, 140 is approved, spouse is on h4, applied for 485 before i got married so spouse name is not included in the 485 application, what happens if i get l laid off immedately, i need atleast two to four weeks to find another job.

Will i have illegal status even though my 140 is approved and 485 is pending for more than 180 days,

Will my spouse have illegal status, does she have to leave the country immedaitely to maintain legal status.
